1911 Lacquer Polished Ebony Steinway "A" 6’2” Grand piano
1911 Lacquer Polished Ebony Steinway "A" 6’2” Grand piano completely restored in excellent condition with matching bench with music compartment. It was manufactured in the US at the Steinway factory in Long Island City, New York. Bigger is always better in piano's, it makes a world of difference in tone and dynamics. I am a Piano tuner and acoustic is always preferable to digital if you really play or expect to.
A new piano like this costs at least $89,900, they quote much higher in the below identical listed piano (Copy and paste the link in your browser if you like). The only way to get a good one for most people is to get one that has been seriously refurbished like this one.
The only thing that wasn’t replaced with new parts were the white keys which was a choice made at the time of the restoration, this is a deduction because the black keys were replaced at that time. There is no replacing with new ivories, so if they get replaced with new acrylic keytops there is no going back. Many pianists prefer ivory keytops because of the feel and their ability to absorb moisture, this makes them ideal for some.
There is a similar piano listed for $44,999.00 on ebay right now here:

You will be able to tell from the pictures all of the replaced parts. All of the wood action parts have been replaced; otherwise, they would have been the same dark brown like the keys. There’s no need to replace the keys themselves, they were rebushed at the same time as the rest of the restoration. the picture shows the pinblock was replaced as well and all the pins are consistently tight, this is very important for this age Steinway; I service several Steinway grands that had loose pins before I got there. The soundboard was also extensively shimmed at the time of the restoration, it looks great and has absolutely no buzzes. This is a Steinway from the heart of Steinway's "Golden Age" of piano manufacturing. Most Steinway enthusiasts revere these pianos to be far better than any of the NEW products Steinway currently produces.
Pianists of any skill level will simply love this piano and it will be a gorgeous addition to some lucky persons home.

Feel free to bypass the next sections and drop down to the listing details below. Also, please forgive the water spots on the lens of my camera; my shop is full and it wasn't easy to take these as it is.
Whether or not this is your first time looking for a piano, finding a new (to you) piano is an endeavor that can bring years of joy to your family and yourself and piano's are one of the only household items that are designed to not only last, but continue to function and sound good for longer than we are likely to live.
Just a little friendly advice though, for what it's worth; by the time most of the piano's you see here have gotten here they haven't seen professional service for what might be decades. It will cost you hundreds of dollars to get them in tune, much less 100% functional and delivered. Any piano you get from me will be ready to go with a minimum of fuss and expenditure. Also, it's recommended to have someone like myself inspect a piano before you take it, which I normally charge an $80 service call to do locally. That is another expense you don't have to worry about with my piano's. Pianos are as complicated as automobiles and I assume you wouldn't consider purchasing even a ten-year-old automobile without having someone check it out first. Caveat emptor.

A full 8 inches taller than spinet piano's; 8 inches in piano's makes a world of difference in tone and dynamics. I am a Piano tuner and acoustic is always preferable to digital if you really play or expect to.
You would not recognize this piano if you saw it when I first acquired it; I have replaced many of the parts with brand new high quality parts as well as had it refinished. I would charge more for the labor I've put into this piano if done to a customers piano. I have replaced the strings, tuning pins, hammers and much of the felting in the action.
Pianists of any skill level will simply love this piano and it will be a gorgeous addition to some lucky persons home.
